Renovation work will be underway shortly on the 50,000 SF Merrell-Soule Building located in the Franklin Square park area of Syracuse, New York. The $22M reuse project, which will be funded with a combination of debt and historic tax credits (HTC) will provide 44 apartments, office and retail space. CMC has been retained by the construction lender and the tax credit equity investor to perform an upfront plan review and cost analysis, as well as ongoing site inspections and construction progress monitoring services.
